Privacy Policy

Last updated: 20 June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Top Ideal (“Top Ideal”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data when you use our omnichannel business messaging platform and our website at top-ideal.tech (together, the “Service”).

Top Ideal provides a unified inbox that lets business teams send and receive messages across WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook Messenger. We are committed to handling personal data responsibly and in line with applicable data protection laws, including the data protection laws of the State of Qatar, and the platform requirements of Meta Platforms, Inc.

Who this policy is for. It covers two groups: our business customers (companies and their team members who use Top Ideal) and the end users (the customers of those businesses who message them through a connected channel).

01Who we are

Top Ideal is operated from Building 31, Floor 1, Street 989, Zone 53, Al Rayyan, Qatar. For any privacy question or request, contact us at privacy@top-ideal.tech or by phone at +974 5516 1755. We act as a data processor on behalf of our business customers for the conversation content they manage through the Service, and as a data controller for account and billing information relating to those customers.

02Information we collect

Account information

When a business signs up, we collect the names, email addresses, phone numbers, business name, and role of the team members who use the Service, along with authentication details.

Messaging data

To deliver the Service, we process messages and their contents that pass between a business and its end users across connected channels. This may include the end user’s name and profile information as provided by the messaging platform, their phone number or platform user ID, message text, attachments (such as images, documents, and voice notes), and timestamps.

Platform data from Meta

When a business connects a WhatsApp Business, Instagram, or Facebook Messenger account, we receive data from Meta’s APIs needed to route conversations — such as the connected account identifiers, message webhooks, and the end user’s display name and message content for active conversations.

Technical and usage data

We collect log data, device and browser information, IP address, and information about how the Service is used, to keep the platform secure and reliable.

03How we use information

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use the content of end-user messages for advertising.

04How Meta platform data is used

Our use of information received through Meta’s APIs (WhatsApp Business Platform, Instagram, and Messenger) follows Meta’s Platform Terms and Developer Policies. We use this data solely to operate the messaging features that the business has chosen to use. We do not transfer Meta platform data to data brokers, use it to build profiles for advertising, or use it for any purpose beyond providing the Service.

05Sharing and disclosure

We share personal data only as described below:

Each business customer also controls who within their own organisation can access the conversations in their workspace.

06International data transfers

The Service is hosted in the Middle East region. Where data is processed by service providers outside Qatar, we put appropriate safeguards in place consistent with applicable law.

07Data retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Business customers can configure retention of conversation data within their workspace, and conversation data is deleted when an account is closed, subject to any retention required by law.

08Your rights and choices

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal data, and to object to certain processing. End users who message a business should contact that business directly, as it controls the conversation. You can also contact us at privacy@top-ideal.tech and we will help route the request.

09Data deletion

You can request deletion of your personal data at any time. We provide a dedicated process and contact for this, described on our Data Deletion page.

10Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege access for our team. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to respond promptly to any incident.

11Children

The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

12Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be communicated to business customers where appropriate.
